Understanding the Democrat Tax Strategies

Help in Understanding Democrat Tax Refunds If you don't understand the Democrats' version of tax refunds, this is for you: 50,000 people go to a baseball game, but the game was rained out. A refund was then due. The team was about to mail refunds when a group of Congressional Democrats stopped them and suggested that they send out the ticket refunds based on the Democrat National Committee's interpretation of fairness. Originally the refunds were to be paid based on the price each person had paid for the tickets. Unfortunately that meant most of the refund money would be going to the ticket holders who had purchased the most expensive tickets. This, according to the DNC, is considered totally unfair. A decision was then made to pay out the refunds in this manner: People in the $10 seats will get back $15. After all, they have less money to spend on tickets to begin with. Call it an "Earned Income Ticket Credit." Persons "earn" it by having few skills, poor work habits, and low ambition, thus keeping them at entry- level wages. People in the $25 seats will get back $25, because it "seems fair." People in the $50 seats will get back $1, because they already make a lot of money and don't need a refund. After all, if they can afford a $50 ticket, they must not be paying enough taxes. People in the $75 luxury box seats will each have to pay an additional $25 because it's the "right thing to do.” People walking past the stadium that couldn't afford to buy a ticket for the game each will get a $10 refund, even though they didn't pay anything for the tickets. They need the most help. Sometimes this is known as Affirmative Action.

Democratic Congress Wants More Troops to Die in Iraq

The news that the house passed the resolution against the troop surge in Iraq did not surprise me, it just hurt. I am so upset that the Democrats are willing to have our troops die so that they can get back into the presidency. Nancy Pelosi in her news conference stated that there needed to be a change in Iraq. Hello Nancy, that is what the surge is for you stupid idiot!!!

The only positive is that each and ever congressmen that voted for that worthless resolution, can no longer say that they support the troops without it being a blatant lie. That resolution is the biggest statement that the House of Representatives do not support our troops. How criminally wrong!!! This is the same problem we had in Somalia; our troops were denied the additional troops and equipment when they needed it. When our troops are denied additional equipment when they need it, additional troops die.

It is my hope that the Republican Senators have enough guts to hold together and block the vote on this resolution in the Senate. I am praying that this is what happens and that the Republican Senators have a spine.

18 Core Beleifs of A Good Liberal

1. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on demand.

Barack Hussein Obama Wants to Quit

Barrack Hussein Obama wants to quit on the war on terror. Barack Hussein Obama has wanted to quit since he has started to run for the US Senate. Barack Hussein Obama wants all of the troops to be out of Iraq by March of 2008. Don’t know why Barack Hussein Obama wants to quit on the war on terror.

Is Barack Hussein Obama touting quitting on the troops for political expediency, ergo going after the liberal political base? This left wing liberal base of the Democratic Party is the base which provides significant campaign contributions. This money is needed for any chance to run for the Presidency.

Is it that Barack Hussein Obama hates the military like the Bill and Hillary Clinton? Bill and Hillary hated the military and had a mass exit from the military. Under Bill and Hillary, re-enlistment in the military was a rarity. If Barack Hussein Obama was to be elected to the Presidency are we to expect to have our military subjected to the demoralization that it experienced under the Clinton’s again?

Is it that Barack Hussein Obama hates the United States of America? Yes, Hussein is his actual middle name.

The demand that the United States gets out of Iraq, is a form of hating our troops and the United States of America. How can Barack Hussein Obama be the President and Commander in Chief if he hates/has no respect for the troops? Barack Hussein Obama demanding that we get out of Iraq by March of 2008 is quitting on the troops. Demanding that we get the troops out of Iraq is putting America at risk for further significant attacks. By Barack Hussein Obama demanding that the United States get the troops out of Iraq, is demoralizing for the troops. The demoralization of the troops is a contradiction because these are the men and women that are the ones that fight for everyone’s right for freedom and freedom of speech.

So which is worse? Barack Hussein Obama, that wants to quit on our troops, or Hillary Clinton that is known to hate the military too.

Increase Fuel Economy

Electric Supercharger

GAINS UP TO 25 HORSEPOWER

If you need a boost and can't afford a real turbo or supercharger conversion, this product is for you. The Electric Supercharger is an adapter to either your short ram or cold air intake. It will work on absolutely any air intake brand including AEM, Injen, MimoUSA, Weapon R, Fujita etc. Simply remove your current air filter and put the Supercharger as a replacement, it's that simple.

The supercharger is operated on a 12-volt source. This means you can connect it to your battery to get the power. It uses 2.2 amps from your alternator when turned on and doesn't affect your car performance or battery drain. The Supercharger is connected to a switch inside the car. Whenever you need more power you simply flip the switch and fly away. It produces 250CFM of forced air into your manifold and it very quiet under the hood when turned on. In fact it has a nice aggressive sound, making it seem like you got something bigger then what you actually have under the hood.

A stock turbo from an Audi 1.8T produces 400CFM. Adding the electric supercharger will produce more then half of the power than a stock Audi 1.8T turbo would. There is need to do any modifications to your engine at all. 250CFM of forced air can also be compared to a 15-25 shot of Nitrous.

The supercharger is made out of the finest parts and a certified K&N Filter with Lifetime warranty. Installation is very simple, it should not take more then 15 minutes to install.

  • Produces 15 - 25 horsepower increase.
  • Generates 250CFM of forced air.
  • Universal Bolt-on, installs on any short ram or cold air intake.
  • K&N Filter included.
  • Installation instructions and all necessary installation hardware included.

Why Michigan Has the Second Highest Unemployment in the Country

Michigan has the second highest unemployment in the country because; every time our Governor speaks she can not help herself about talking about tax increases. The reality is that you can not tax a state in to prosperity.

The state congress finally pushed through getting rid of the single business tax to the point that the governor could no longer veto it no more. Now the governor says she needs to replace the tax. Michigan needed to get rid of the single business tax because it was blocking new jobs coming to the state. Although now that we have gotten rid of the single business tax, now we have our governor out there stating that she needs to raise taxes.

Michigan has high unemployment for several reasons from a manufacturing stand point:

  • High taxes
  • High labor wage rates
  • Higher likely hood of getting a combative union than other parts of the country.
  • Mandatory health insurance requirements that drive up the health care cost to labor.
  • Less flexibility by the state and local governments on tax abatements.
  • Track record of suing over tax abatements if targets are not met.

Although governor Granholm has succeeded in acquiring engineering and high tech jobs such as the Toyota Engineering Center and Google. That’s neat; there will be some trickle down jobs from those. Although, had Michigan aggressively went after the assembly plant as neighboring Ohio and Indiana did we would have had an assembly plant.

What is the big deal about an assembly plant? The transplant automotive manufactures make it requirement of their suppliers to have their plants with in a half hour of their plant. Instead of only adding 3000 to 5000 jobs, you are talking about doubling those numbers of jobs. On top of all of the increased jobs directly associated to the plant, there is typically a construction boom just for the housing alone. The failure was ignorance.

How do we make Michigan great again? Shut up about tax increases. The Engineering jobs are neat, but it does nothing to replace the thousands of blue collar jobs lost. The elimination of the Single Business Tax was needed to give Michigan a fighting chance. Every time there is talk of creating a new tax to replace the single business tax, who in their right mind would want to put a plant where they will be hit with another new tax. How do you negotiate tax abatement for a tax that is not there yet?

You can not tax your town/community/state back into prosperity. You have to believe in the theory that when you cut taxes, the increased prosperity due to the tax cut will generate more taxes than you received before. The greatest President of the 20th century Ronald Reagan proved this and so did President George W. Bush.

My choice of picture of the year

This is something you will never see in the news. Here's a tough, but heartwarming story and a picture of John Gebhardt in Iraq . His wife, Mindy, related that this little girl's entire family was executed. They intended to execute her also and shot her in the head, but they failed to kill her. She was cared for by John's hospital and is healing, but has been crying and moaning. The nurses said John is the only one she seems to calm down with, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both sleep in that chair. The girl is coming along with her healing.

*He is a real Star of the war and is representative of what America is trying to do. Please keep this going. Nothing will happen if you don't. The American public needs to see pictures like this and needs to realize that what we're doing over there is making a difference. Even if it is one little girl at a time.

Interesting How It Goes Around

Love him or loathe him, he nailed this one right on the head....

By Rush Limbaugh:

I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the September 11 casualty and those who die serving our country in Uniform are profound. No one is really talking about it either, because you just don't criticize anything having to do with September 11. Well, I can't let the numbers pass by because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country. If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000. The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million. If you are a surviving family member of an American soldier killed in action, the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable.

Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs. If you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry. And there's a payment of $211 per month for each child under 18. When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt.

Keep in mind that some of the people who are getting an average of $1.185 million up to $4.7 million are complaining that it's not enough. Their deaths were tragic, but for most, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Soldiers put themselves in harms way FOR ALL OF US, and they and their families know the dangers.

We also learned over the weekend that some of the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an organization asking for the same deal that the September 11 families are getting. In addition to that, some of the families of those bombed in the embassies are now asking for compensation as well.

You see where this is going, don't you? Folks, this is part and parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country. It's just really sad. Every time a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise. Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent housing Make sense?

However, our own US Congress voted themselves a raise. Many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month. And most are now equal to being millionaires plus. They do not receive Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay into the system. If some of the military people stay in for 20 years and get out as an E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per month.

I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting.

US Senate Needs to Ban the Super Bowl

The Iraq Surrender Group of senators also needs to include in there legislation to get out of Iraq, that the United States also bans winning and determining champions. The Senators opposed to the war in Iraq only want the US to lose and to quit. How can you allow there to be championships in your country if you desire the country to a nation of losers.

With the banning of championships, we need to ban the Super Bowl, the Stanley Cup, the NBA Championship and the World Series. How arrogant to declare that the United States has the best baseball and baseball players in the world. Opps, we invented the game here, same thing for football, and basketball. We can not be declaring winners and champions in our country, when we go out and start fights/wars around the world and quit.

We have to ban these championships, if we can have a congress that is so opposed to our military winning. How dare the United States be the world’s only super power! Sorry, it was our fathers and grandfathers that have bailed out Europe twice in WW I & II.

The United States is the only world’s super power because we have men and women that are willing to put aside their lives and volunteer to defend our country. Yet we have a political party that sees their path back to the president’s office by our failure in Iraq. So if the politicians want us to be a nation of losers in battles, they must also demand that we eliminate sports championships.

Will the Iraq Surrender Group ever propose the elimination of championships, not very likely? The leaders in the Iraq Surrender Group see sports fans as one of their biggest voting blocks, that they can not afford to offend. They see the average sports fan as a dumb blue collar worker sitting in front of the TV drinking beer. At the same time they see the average service man as an individual that is to dumb to get a job else where.

As a nation I firmly believe most of us love, respect, and are grateful for our service men and women. As a nation I believe most do not like the progress in the last few years in Iraq, but we still support our troops. As a nation I firmly believe, if given the choice they want the United States and Iraq to win the battle in Iraq.

Iraq is only one of the battles in the war on terror. As a Naval Veteran, I want our military to kick some butt and win! I want to see all of the championships continue. I want to see our nation demand that our military is victorious in the battles in the war on terror. I want to see our nation shed this opinion that quitting is okay in Iraq. Quitting is for losers and to surrender is to die. The purpose of the war on terror is to limit further attacks on the United States in the United States.

MSN Thinks You're Stupid, Again

Kimberly Sevcik in her article titled A Tale of Two Cities tries to tell you that unless you’re rich you have no chance. This article was published by MSN. She cites that the rich have increased their income by 200% and the single mom in poverty has only improved by 1% in the last 25 years. She uses this example to state that there is no middle class.

Well MSN, there is this thing called inflation. Over the last 25 years inflation has averaged at about 3% per year. On average the stock market gains about 10% per year. 200% over 25 years is only 8%; they’re doing worse than dumping all of their money in the stock market.

MSN takes a successful family compared to a single mom that her husband an illegal immigrant was arrested trying to cross the boarder. The description of the mother does not state if she is here legally her self. If you are not in the USA legally, you really have very limited chances of success to be anything but living below the poverty level.

Through out the whole article there is nothing of mention of the middle class. Is this to make the interference that here in the USA we are either filthy rich or dirt poor? According to the IRS and bankruptcy courts here in southwest Michigan, at $70,000 per year income you are making 20% above the mean income in Kalamazoo County, AKA rich. I don’t feel rich.

Michigan has gone from a very prosperous state to highest unemployment in the nation in 10 years. I still can not relate to the reference that MSN made to the poor in our state. There is no comparison to the flamboyant rich to the middle class, and there probably never will be.

The reality is that this article is just one more case of the media calling the average Joe, DUMB, “Those dumb hicks in flyover country.” Well this average guy in flyover country, know this. The United States of America is the greatest in the world. I was privileged to be born here, to be a citizen and proud to have served this great country in the United States Navy.

As to Kimberly if she wrote this article in China or Russia, she’d be shot for writing badly about the country. If she lived in Iran and wrote this article, she’d be shot because she is a woman, ergo she has no rights. God Bless America, I defended this great country so that stupid people have the write to write articles that call the nation stupid.
