Hey

A woman starts dating a doctor. Before too long, she becomes pregnant and they don't know what to do. About nine months later, just about the time she is going to give birth, a priest goes into the hospital for a prostate gland infection. The doctor says to the woman, "I know what we'll do. After I've operated on the priest, I'll give the baby to him and tell him it was a miracle."

"Do you think it will work?" she asks.

"It's worth a try." he says. So, the doctor delivers the baby and then operates on the priest. After the operation he goes in to the priest and says, "Father, you're not going to believe this.".

"What?" asks the priest, "what happened?".

"You gave birth to a child!".

"But that's impossible!" says the priest.

"I just did the operation," insists the doctor, "it's a miracle! Here's your baby."

About fifteen years go by, and the priest realises he must tell his son the truth. One day, he sits the boy down and says, "Son, I have something to tell you. I'm not your father."

The son says, "What do you mean, you're not my father?”

The priest replies, "I am your mother. The archbishop is your father."

President Bush Had the Bridge Come Down

It must have been President Bush that ordered the bridge to be collapsed. He had this done to take the heat off of the war. Just like he had the planes flown into the World Trade Centers on 9-11 to start his war against "Islamic Terrorists". Everyone knows that this is all about Oil, which means that this is about money.

Although then again, only the left wing extremist would consider that there is any truth to this statement. Having trouble with our constitution that allows s people to be so stupid.

So to set the record straight, I posted this blog, to get you to my blog. So you can click on the ads in my blog and I can make money. I do not believe that any of this is true.

This will happen on Aug.27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure to watch thesky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons. Thenext time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

The Demographics of American Newspapers:
1. The Wall Street Journal is read by the people who run the country.

2. The Washington Post is read by people who think they run the country.

3. The New York Times is read by people who think they should run the country and who are very good at crossword puzzles.

4. USA Today is read by people who think they ought to run the country but don't really understand The New York Times. They do, however, like their statistics shown in pie charts.

5. The Los Angeles Times is read by people who wouldn't mind running the country -- if they could find the time -- and if they didn't have to leave Southern California to do it.

6. The Boston Globe is read by people whose parents used to run the country and did a far superior job of it, thank you very much.

7. The New York Daily News is read by people who aren't too sure who's running the country and don't really care as long as they can get a seat on the train.

8. The New York Post is read by people who don't care who's running the country as long as they do something really scandalous, preferably while intoxicated.

9. The Miami Herald is read by people who are running another country but need the baseball scores.

10. The San Francisco Chronicle is read by people who aren't sure there is a country . . . or that anyone is running it; but if so, they oppose all that they stand for. There are occasional exceptions if the leaders are handicapped, minority, feminist, atheists who also happen to be illegal aliens from any other country or galaxy, provided of course, that they are not Republicans.

11. The National Enquirer is read by people trapped in line at the grocery store.

12. The Pensacola News Journal is read by people who have recently caught a fish and need something in which to wrap it.

Then there is my paper the Gazette: It is too stiff to wipe my tail on, to small for a small dog to piss on, all its news is taken off the UPI and the only reason I subscribe to it is to find the local store specials, the funnies and the Obits. If i'm not in the Obits, I read the funnies and my wife checks the local store specials and then we trash it.

The Kalamazoo Gazette my local paper. I don't subscribe to it because; what is not local news is taken off the UPI. The sports are half hearted. There is hardly any Detroit professional teams or any other professional sports, little if not for University of Michigan or Michigan State. Business news, just as much of a joke as the sports section, a very limited selection of stock and mutual fund results. Just another newspaper headed for the same business health of the New York Times and the Los Angles Times. Losing significant numbers of readership that puts out their opinion, while disregarding their readerships opinion.

My Senator Replied that He was In Favor of the Amnesty Bill

Dear Mr. Piet Van:

This is in response to your recent correspondence regarding the subject of immigration. I appreciate receiving your views on this important matter.

Our immigration system is broken and needs reform. Undocumented immigrants flow through our porous borders. Employers hire them with near impunity. Our government lacks the ability to adequately detect unauthorized employment, while employers in sectors such as agriculture, Michigan’s second largest industry, fear that their crops will go unpicked for lack of legal, authorized workers. The bipartisan compromise bill before the Senate was an opportunity to reform this broken system.

The first step in immigration reform must be stronger border security. Although there were some provisions in the bill before the Senate that I did not support, this legislation had strong border security measures, even stronger than the ones we debated a few weeks ago. In fact, it contained the funding for the enhanced border security.

We need a more secure, more sensible, and fairer system of immigration. Because of filibusters in the Senate we were unable to fully consider and amend the bill. We do not know what the final language might have been, and we were unable to get a vote on a number of amendments because of the filibuster. We should have finished the consideration of those amendments to determine whether or not the final product was an improvement on the status quo. I’m disappointed the Senate was thwarted in that effort.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with me.

Sincerely,

Carl Levin

Bloggers Response:

Thank God there were enough Senators that listened to the people versus my Senator! I must agree that we must get border security first. I must disagree that there are not people that are willing to do the farm work with out the illegal immigrants. There are people willing to do the job, just not below minimum wage or possible the wage that the farmers want to pay.

Making the 2002 Tax Cuts Permanent - A Letter to My Senators

To the Honorable Senator Debbie Stabenow & Carl Levin:

I would like to know when would you be pushing the legislation to make the 2002 tax cuts permanent? Failure to make the tax cuts permanent will be a significant tax increase on my family and other families in our great nation.

One of the biggest tax cuts was the child tax credit. I am sure you are in favor of doing things for the children of this great nation. The next measure that directly impacted families was the raising of the minimal taxable income.

As I remember there were also provisions in those tax cuts that revised the depreciation schedules advantageous to businesses. By making these depreciation schedules permanent this is advantageous to re-investing in your business. Additional measures included the lowering the capital gains taxes. Right now Michigan manufacturing needs this help. Michigan manufacturing has taken such a beating in plant closures; jobs moving down south and internationally. This is very depressing. In quoting for jobs as an engineer, the deprecation costs sometimes is the make it or break it factor in keeping these jobs in Michigan and the United States. Without the revised deprecation schedules made permanent, you cannot depend on using the current deprecation schedules; we must use the old schedules.

I’m sure you understand that Michigan has some of the highest unemployment in the nation. Tax cuts and making the tax cuts permanent is one of the biggest things that the federal government can do to stimulate the economy. I grew up in Michigan. I returned to Michigan after honorable service in the United States Navy and I would like to raise my family in Michigan. The Great Sate of Michigan needs your help right now!

Sincerely,

Pieter J. Vande Vusse

The People Spoke

What a great thing happened this week in the Senate. The people spoke and the Senators had no choice but to listen. The people did not want was what congress had come up with for immigration reform.

This incident goes to show how powerful the voice of the people is. It told the people the importance of writing your Congressman/woman and Senators. If you are upset with what congress is doing, you must call or write your legislator.

Have you written your legislator to tell hem how you feel about making the 2002 tax cuts permanent? I have young kids and those tax cuts equals $3,000 a year to me. What else is important to you?

By the way, the Senators were not happy about this mass of calls, e-mails and letters. They are blaming Talk Radio, and they are right. Talk Radio did stir up a lot of the people, but it is the job of the legislators to listen to the people too. In response to the Amnesty bill failure by the Senators having to listen to the people. There are Senators that are trying to write legislation that would kill Talk Radio. When this happens, it will be time again for the American people to tell their senators what to do again.

Corporate Hiring Practices?

What is up with companies today expecting new employees to relocate their family, yet expecting the new employee to travel 70% (out of town 7+ nights in 10 working days) and up? Where would it make sense for the new employee to up root their family and never be there. How does it make sense to the company to pay for the relocation expense and never have them in their office?

What is 70% plus travel? Try thinking of it this way; there are 5 working days in a week of seven days. If the employee is out of town over night seven working days in two weeks, that is 70% travel.

Traveling expenses on average traveling to one city in North America, flying out Monday morning and flying home Friday night, hotel, airfare, rental car, meals and misc. expenses; it averages about $1,500 a week. This is base on an average town and not a "big city". Big cities can be considered, Los Angles, New York, Toronto, Chicago, etc. This is based on my experienced of traveling 150,000 plus qualifying miles a year for the last three years and 200 plus nights in hotels per year. Call me a road warrior.

So you need me in the office, fly me there on the way to another meeting or on my way home. It costs a lot less than paying the relocation expense. My experience of 80% plus travel, I'm only in the office maybe 14 days a year. My experience of planned travel to the office has cost on average of about $700 per stop. Compare $9,800 for travel to the office versus $40,000 plus for relocation expense, what a cost save!

Next time you decide you need to hire a person for heavy travel that would have to relocate. Consider getting them a very good laptop, PDA mobile phone with unlimited minutes and extra batteries, and a corporate credit card. Have the travel into the office when you need them there for a meeting and get out and do what you need them to do for your company the rest of the time. It's cheaper for your company and easier on your new employee.

How is it easier on your new employee? First they do not have to go through the stress of selling their house. They don't have to go through the stress of buying a new house and moving. Their family is not up-rooted from where they are already settled. They are already going to be gone from their family a lot, but why put their family where they have little family or friends? You see, your company saves money, and your new employee is happier. In the end it can be a true win, win.

In the end it should be the new employees choice.

Iran Protests Potential Further Sanctions

The Israelis handled this "negotiation" right with Iraq in the 1980’s; they bombed the reactors under construction. A squadron of Stealth fighters dropping on all of the sites simultaneously would be very effective. Iran is delaying through negations while they continue to build. In effect Iran is thumbing its nose against the world.

The United States is losing the war on terror because we are unwilling to do what it takes to win. The United States is sitting on its hands while terror state nations; continue to build up an arsenal while we try to negotiate. The United States is trying to appease the world with negotiations with terror state nations that flat out say they want to kill all of the Americans (Iran).

Other than Vietnam, no other country has ever beaten the United States in war. We lost in Vietnam because we lost the will to fight. Vietnamese Generals have repeatedly publicly stated one more year of B-52 carpet-bombing would have had Vietnam at the bargaining table begging for peace. We lost the war because we quit. We need to put on our pants and go kick these terrorists off of this plant and let them meet Allah.

As a nation we are not taking the war on terror very seriously. I really believe we will not take it seriously again until we get attacked again to the level of 9-11. Our government also needs to stop denying that these little attacks are people that went wacko and call them for what they are. I am referencing the Muslim that went it to the mall and just started to shoot people.

There was this short little song during the Iranian hostages crisis back when Jimmy Carter was in office, “Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran. Lets bomb Iran!” The truth is that we are eventually going to have to destroy Iran in its current terrorists state, if we ever desire world peace.

Senator Reid Hates the Military

Senator Reid does not understand that bashing the Generals is the same as bashing the troops. Senator Reid has choosen this week to start bashing the Chairman of the Joint Cheif of Staff. Senator Reid has also choosen to bash General Petraeus.

At the same time Rep. Ellen O. Tauscher (D-California), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, said Pace lost standing among members in March when he said homosexual acts were immoral and that the military should not condone the behavior by letting gays serve openly. Pace later apologized, including in a letter to Tauscher, for expressing what he said were his personal views. The problem is that Representive Tauscher has is she does not understand the troops do not want gays in the military at all. I would believe most troops do support General Pace's comments.

For once the Communist News Network, for once they have this one right to pick on this school district.

Heck my daughter in first grade would be expelled for kissing boys in kindergarten and first grade. Do I think the kissing is appropriate; yes I was not happy to hear about it. I don't think I'm going to be happy when I find out she has a boyfriend when she is 20 or 30 either. Although, I think kindergarten and first grade is way to young to be kissing boys. I am curious on what is the percentage of how many people did not kiss somebody at school when they were a kid? I think most people have kiss another student at some point when they were growing up when they were kids going to school, I think it’s normal. Although, I could understand a policy against kissing in school.

As to hugs, I see nothing wrong with hugs. As for touching like this schools policy goes, I think they need to spend a little more time concentrating on teaching, than worrying about students touching each other.

The World¹s Shortest Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, a girl asked a guy, "Will you marry me?" The guy said "No" and the girl lived happily ever after and went shopping, drank martinis with friends, always had a clean house, never had to cook, had a closet full of shoes and handbags, stayed skinny, and was never farted on.

The End

How do youu tell the difference between a sea story and a fairy tale?

A fairy tale starts out, "Once upon a time...."

A sea story starts out, "Now this is a no S h i t t er!..."

Did You Write Your Congressman Today?

The Senate Voted for an Energy Bill Last Night If you don't like what congress is doing, have you written your Congressman/Congresswoman or Senators lately?

The link to write your Congressman/Congresswoman or Senators:

http://www.webslingerz.com/jhoffman/congress-email.html

Let them know what you think.

The Senate Voted for an Energy Bill Last Night

What a screw job to manufacturing in the United States this bill is. Obama, did you forget about the Chicago Assembly Plant or Mitsubishi, in Normal IL, or Subaru too? Hillary what about the assembly plant in Buffalo NY? You need to remember that each assembly plant equates to about 10,000 jobs to the assembly plant and the suppliers surrounding them.

From what I have heard so far, there is nothing in this bill about additional drilling for oil in the United States, including Alaska. There is nothing in the bill to allow for new refineries to be built in the United States. There is nothing in the bill for more nuclear power plants. There is nothing in the bill for increasing the use of windmills for electrical power. There is nothing in the bill to increase the use of bio fuel. Nothing in this bill to reduce the farm subsidies to encourage farmers not to farm their land. Nothing in the bill to accommodate spent uranium waste. Nothing in the bill to encourage development of hydrogen fuel. Nothing in the bill in the bill to support the development of H3 power. Although, there is a brand new CAFE requirement, where there is no technology to support the development.

There is nothing in this legislation to deal with the problem until 2020, thirteen years from now. Our Senator’s did nothing to help with our energy problem for our nation. Or nation has an energy problem and has had one long before September 11th of 2001. Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham at the time did very little. Yes Spencer Abraham was the former Republican Senator from the Great State of Michigan and he did very little for Michigan as a Senator too.

Ted Nugent Says It Best

Ted Nugent was being interviewed about his deer hunting by a French journalist. The journalist asked, "What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, "Are you my friend?" or is it "Are you the one who killed my brother?'" Nugent replied, "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, "What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away? They are very much like the French."

TSA Takes Sippy Cup From Mom

This has been all over the net of the TSA trying to take away a sippy cup from a mom. Do I believe they tried to take away the sippy cup, ABSOLUTELY!!! Do I doubt that they threatened to arrest this mother, no doubt at all that they did threaten her. Would I believe that she tried to identify herself as a Secret Service Agent, yes. Do I believe that the mom tried to threaten the TSA Agents, NO. Am I surprised that the TSA leadership is denying this, heck no. They have released a video with no sound (as shown in the title link), doesn't prove a thing. Do I like or care for how the TSA is run, heck NO!

Just after 9-11 they came up with the TSA, I believe Teddy Kennedy was part of it. What a shaft job to the traveler and the citizens. What they created was a new tax. This is just one of the first conservative failures for Bush 43. The airlines did not reduce their fares once this tax was put in place. But what difference does it make they are only taxing the rich again.

Did the TSA improve airline security? If I were to judge it, I would call it a marginal improvement, if any at all. Who am I to judge this, at times I travel 100,000+ miles a year by air (not frequent flyer rewards points but miles) for work. I have done this before and after 9-11.

My impression of the TSA is no better qualified than what was in place before. Most of them are on ego kicks and abuse their authority. Most are rude, and talk down to you. Most of their rules are ridiculas. Like you can not carry matches in your checked in bag, because they may rub against each other and start a fire in the luggage compartment. My luggage gets lost as much as it did before. It is not uncommon for my luggage to be on a different flight than mine (security risk).

End of the day, Bush and Kennedy put in a tax increase and hid the name of it.

Nifong Does Not Get Nifong'ed

With Michael Nifong getting disbarred, there is some justice. Unfortunately, the young men he wrongly and publicly accused of the crime lives have not been made whole after his abuse of the system.

The Price is Wrong With Rosie O'Donnell As A Potential Host

I think it is a lousy idea to hire Rosie O’Donnell as a replacement for Bob Barker on the Price is Right. Don't get me wrong; I like Rosie as an entertainer. Although, Rosie has a long history of running her mouth off on facts she is totally wrong. Her comments at times are very offensive to her sponsors and to some of her audience as well. Rosie will bring an audience with her, but she will also run off an audience too.

I don't care about her homosexuality. I am just disappointed that in her own way she is an attractive woman to some man that could be a father in helping her raise all of the children she has adopted. Yes, I believe a mother and father, not a mother and a mother or father and father best raise children.

ABC and Barbara Walters had no choice but to get rid of Rosie from the view, she became a liability. CBS can do better with someone else to host the Price Is Right. If someone wants to use Rosie for ratings somewhere, let her have another talk show on some other time slot.

Nice Dow Jones Average - What's Wrong With Michigan

The Dow Jones and inflation is doing great, so why is Michigan leading the nation in unemployment? The state government that is trying to tax its way into prosperity. A workforce with an entitlement mentality. High health insurance costs. A workforce belief that they need a labor union that extorts them and the company. Why would you build a manufacturing plant in Michigan? Let alone keep the plant you already have in Michigan and not relocate it?

Don't get me wrong, I love living in Michigan. I love the schools for my kids. I love the people. I love the beauty the Michigan has in it seasons and all of its lakes.

As a case in point of taxing its way into prosperity, the Kalamazoo Airport (AZO), It costs nearly $100 more per ticket to fly out of Kalamazoo versus Grand Rapids (GRR) due to the landing fees at Kalamazoo. Continental Airlines left Kalamazoo Airport over that alone. The Kalamazoo area also lost the GM Plant because the township sued to recover some of the tax abatements, because they felt GM did not live up to its end of the agreement. GM shut the plant down two years later.

Kalamazoo used to have over 15 paper plants; I think only one or two are left.

Benton Harbor, there is no more Whirlpool manufacturing left, why do you think there was the riots a few years ago? There are no jobs for the general laborer. The absenteeism, union mentality, theft and more are part of the reason. I never worked with Whirlpool, but I have worked with Collins & Aikmen (bankrupt and plant shut down in St. Joe). Bosch is in a slow process of shutting down its plant in St. Joe. Wolverine Plastics has shut down in Stevensville.

Trying to hire people (300-400 jobs) in South Haven. We battled with candidates not able to pass drug tests and very simple math tests. Once the ones that did pass the test and get hired, started to abuse the absenteeism policy right away. You would not believe how many excuses they would come up with for medical restrictions upon getting out of their probation period. Ones that lasted a year came up with so many excuses to get on FMLA, it was amazing. The fall out rate was shocking too.

Senate Dems plan new round of Iraq votes AGAIN

I can't understand why they think this is going to help them win the White House. The amazing thing is that my liberal Senator Carl Levin is against not funding the troops in harms way. This floors me.

What no one is willing to openly discuss how do we win the door-to-door fighting.

A Letter to My Other Senator about the Illegal Immigration (Amnesty) Act

To the Honorable Senator Carl Levin,

I am writing concerning the ongoing debate of the current Immigration legislation, AKA Amnesty Act, this is wrong for our country. Instead I would like to see the current legislation pushed towards securing the border first and not a comprehensive bill. We can address the revising Immigration Laws and limits once we have secured the borders. I am opposed to the current legislation that Senator Reed and the President are trying to get passed at this time.

I am not apposed to the guest worker program as I am granting the Amnesty to the Illegals and every perversion of the extended families that are already here in granting permanent Visa’s to all of them. WE need to encourage the Illegals that are already here to work their way through the system, so that we can sort out the bad applicants. They can state this from outside of the United States, in their home country. There should be no issuance of visa’s either. All of the immigration issues need to be dealt with after we secure our borders first.

I am not apposed to immigrants; I am apposed to criminals (AKA illegal immigrants) demanding citizenship or the right to stay in this great country. I am apposed to allowing immigrants that do not have a desire to assimilate to becoming United States of America citizens, versus Mexicans that live in the United States.

As a country we cannot afford to deport all of the illegal immigrants because it is too expensive and the public relations all over the world would be horrible. Although, congress can provide the funding to allow the responsible agencies to enforce the illegal immigration laws already in place. By drying up the hiring of illegal immigrants, the jobs will cease and they will leave. The illegal immigrants come here for the money. At the same time legislation can be passed to stop welfare, loans, drivers licenses and more going to illegal immigrants. As to emergency healthcare, we can take care of them and deport them right after they are stabilized. I say this in understanding that these people are criminals; they have violated our nations laws.

We can dry up the jobs for the illegal immigrants by verifying that the social security numbers match the names provided to employers. We can also step up the Border Patrol making sweeps of companies employing illegal immigrants. These companies need to be fined using the laws already in place. If the fines are “to small” then increase the fine to a mandatory $10,000 per immigrant working that day. Hire enough Border Patrol Agents to start enforcing this all across the country. We do not have to deport the illegal immigrants, just cut off the money and they will leave.

When we as a nation want to be compassionate, we can work with the nations south of our border to reduce the corruption in their governments. If the corruption was not as prevalent in Mexico, it would not be such a third world country, but prosperous. I really believe that the Mexicans would love to stay in Mexico. Unfortunately, Mexico is a third world nation due to all of the corruption.

If you really want to do something to help Michigan jobs, work on making the tax cuts President Bush pushed through in his first term permanent. Making those tax cuts permanent, is one of the few things that can be done on the federal level to help the dismal unemployment rate in Michigan.

Respectively,

Pieter Vande Vusse
Constituent from the Great State of Michigan

Bloggers Comments:

What I can expect to receive is a letter stating the Senator is glad to hear my opinion, but in the end the Senator is going to vote how he feels it best serves this great nation. What that means is that the Senator will vote how he see that he will continue to maintain the support of the Democratic party for his re-election and to hell with what is good for the people he represents.

I Heard Back From My Senator on the Amnesty Bill

June 14, 2007

Mr. Piet Van

Thank you . . .

. . . for contacting me about the issue of immigration. I appreciate you sharing your views with me.

As you know, the United States Senate passed legislation last year in response to the serious problems with our nation's immigration system. While I consistently voted for tough enforcement provisions and to provide the resources necessary to secure our borders, I voted against this final bill because it would not have done enough to protect Michigan jobs. Also, I continue to oppose amnesty and Social Security for illegal immigrants.

The Senate has been debating new immigration legislation this year. I oppose this bill for the same reasons I voted against last year's legislation.

President Bush's new guest worker program, contained in both bills, opens our borders to hundreds of thousands of new guest workers every year. Importing cheap foreign labor is wrong for Michigan and wrong for America. We need an effective immigration system that works for businesses and communities and that protects the basic rights of legal immigrants, who are such an important part of our state economy. In the end, this legislation failed to strike the proper balance between security, fairness and preserving Michigan jobs.

Thank you for contacting my office. I will keep your strong views in mind if the Senate considers this issue again. Please continue to keep me informed about issues that are important to you and your family.

Sincerely,
Debbie Stabenow
United States Senator

My Response:

Dear Senator Stabenow,

Your right, you always tend vote in a way to support legislation that shows that you support issues your constituents care about. Although in the end you typically vote with your party lines. Last year as I understand it, the only legislation that went up for a final vote was to build the wall, and I understand that you voted against it. I think we need to push the completion of a wall much faster.

I would like to see the current legislation pushed towards securing the border and not a comprehensive bill. I am opposed to the current legislation that Senator Reed and the President are trying to get passed at this time.

I am not apposed to the guest worker program as I am granting the Amnesty to the Illegals and every perversion of the extended families that are already here. WE need to encourage the Illegals that are already here to work their way through the system, so that we can sort out the bad applicants.

Senate Dems plan new round of Iraq votes

Can they figure out that they voted to go into the war, and unfortunately we are stuck in a door-to-door urban war? The US can sweep a battlefield in day over anyone, but we as a country lack the stomach for a long drawn out battle. It is not our soldiers; it is public opinion. Congress voted to go with the President, now they cannot stomach the battle.

Unfortunately we are getting piss poor leadership on how to fight this battle. As a conservative it is hard for me to admit, Bush as a President is in the bottom third of Presidents. If he had any brains, we would be pulling the troops out of the cities and shutting down the boarders. Put in Special Forces with the Iraqis, but shut down Iran and Syria's influence.

Really getting sick and tired of Bush's push for the Amnesty bill too.

Just Like I Said

Paris Hilton is getting harsher treatment than if she was a nobody for several reasons.

  1. It outraged the public that she was let out early.
  2. She is a celebrity, and public pressure was made to make her serve more of her sentence in jail than on an early release.

Why does Paris get so little support that most celebrities get? I think most of it is that more people see Paris as a porn star than as a movie star. Hollywood ignored her too.
Worst of all, Paris has her own very large demons. In lots of ways, I do feel very sorry for Paris. There was this book put out a couple of years ago ranking the 100 most harmful people to the United States. Paris's parents were ranked in there for doing such a lousy job raising her. I think that there is more truth than the author originally thought.

Video of an F-15 Landing On Just One Wing

What a Kick But Airplane. I have heard of this happening before. The first time I heard of it the wing was taken off in a lighting strike. I was expecting to see the footage of that landing not a totally different story.

Paris Hilton ordered to LA jail's medical wing

Let's get to the point; Paris is back in jail only because she is a celebrity. If you go to jail for violating your parole for drunk driving, typically you will spend the first 2-3 nights in jail or the weekend. Then you will be put on a tether. This was no special treatment. The mistake the Sheriff made was not to state that this is a very common practice.

With Paris being put on a tether that is like being sent to her bedroom for jail. I had a friend that was put on a tether and they would call and ask where he was when he went out in his back yard to far. For Paris this would be like being restricted to two or three rooms of her house. If you stray to far from your house, first they will call your home. If you do not answer, you are deemed to be violating your parole. When they make the call, they will also send a patrol car by to verify that you are actually at home and not using call forwarding to your cell phone. There will also be several unannounced visits to your home by the local police to verify that you have not taken the tether off and put it on your dog or cat and go out for the night.

What is the advantage of using the tether system, it keeps the jails less crowded. It costs less to run, than an inmate for the night. It allows for the convict to work and provide for their family, versus becoming even more of a burden to society.

What are the down falls of this system, it can be considered not that hard of a punishment and people are more likely to violate the drunk driving laws again. People that are sent to jail for drunk driving for 30 days are forced into 30 days of sobriety. People that are put on tethers can get drunk as a skunk each night.

The United States needs to look at becoming even harsher in its drunk driving penalties. Muslim countries, drunk driving gets you beheaded. European countries, if you kill someone drunk driving you get a death sentence (carried out quickly). European countries if you get caught driving drunk you lose your drivers license for life. It is a lot harder to get a drivers license and a car in Europe than in the USA.

The biggest positive for putting Paris back in jail, she is very likely to quit drinking. This might be a low point in her life and enough to change her ways.

A Letter to My Senator about the Illegal Immigration (Amnesty) Act

To the Honorable Senator Debbie Stabenow,

Please do what ever it takes to kill The Illegal Immigration Act. What I as your constituent would like to see is that we as a Nation do is to enforce our current laws, and stop the flood at the border. This needs to be done first. Completing the fence, hiring more Boarder Patrol Agents, and increasing the funding to the Boarder Patrol can accomplish protecting the boarder.

The Immigration Law needs to incorporate the protection of the Boarder Patrol Agents in using deadly force. I understand that there are two agents that have been sent to prison for shooting an illegal immigrant involved in the drug trade and presented a gun. Agents like this should receive accommodations, not sued or sent to prison. The agents must be allowed to protect them selves. The criminals should not have more protections or rights than the agents that are protecting my family and yours.

As to the illegal immigrants, these people should not be rewarded with citizenship or a permanent visa. They should be treated as a criminal. The current laws need to be changed to not give citizenship to children that are born in the United States by parents that are here illegally. Enforcement should be placed upon companies that employ employees that their Social Security number does not match their name. Enforcement must be increased on companies employing illegal immigrants. We do not need to deport the illegal immigrants, if we dry up the jobs they will leave on their own. We already have the laws in place, we just need to enforce them, not make more new laws.

As to the argument that the illegal immigrants are the only ones willing to do jobs the people that are here legally are unwilling to do, is a total lie! The truth is that the illegal immigrants are the only ones willing to do the job at the low wages the employers want to pay. There are people willing to do the jobs, just not such a low rate of pay.

If the United States of America wants to help our third world neighbors to the south, help the countries stop the corruption in their governments. The corruption in Mexico and all of our neighbors to the south is the cause of the utter poverty, not the greedy corporations. I speak of this on personnel knowledge from working in Mexico for a major tier one automotive supplier for nearly a year.

The enforcement of our countries immigration laws will help our country in many ways:

  • I will decrease our healthcare costs of illegals showing up in emergency rooms for health care.
  • It will also decrease our welfare costs.
  • It will free up the classrooms and reduce the demand for bilingual classes.

Once this bill is killed, and funding is provided and put in place to secure our boarders, then this country can start working on a new LEGAL IMMIGRATION Act. The lack of security of our boarders this long after 9-11, is a shame of all the politics in Washington DC.

Sincerely yours,

Piet Van

Another Letter/Response to My Congressman

To the Honorable Fred Upton,

I would like to thank you for the reply to my letter about the ads purportedly stating that you are against President Bush and the War on Terror. I believe you that you did not put out the ad and that you believe that the Troops are important to you. Although, from reading your letter I have trouble understanding where you stand. Your letter’s answer was filled with so much political double speak, I really don’t know where you stand.

I saw a Marine in an interview on television where he stated, “You can not support the Troops and not support the President at the same time. If you don’t support the President, you are not supporting the Troops too.” I think that Marine was absolutely right!

Your answer does not reflect that level of support. As a matter of fact, it is very disappointing. I can appreciate your concern for our Troops. Although, as one of your constituents I would expect an answer of, your supporting the President and encouraging him to do what ever it takes to succeed in this War on Terror. If you disagree with the Presidents and his Generals methods, those conversations should be in private, anything different puts our Troops in jeopardy. This would include letters to your constituents.

The next subject:

The Illegal Immigration (Amnesty) Act, please do what ever it takes to kill this bill as it tries to make its way through conference.

  • It will also decrease our welfare costs.
  • It will free up the classrooms and reduce the demand for bilingual classes.

Your Comment is that this bill is currently in conference in the Senate. As I understand it the Bill must come back to the house because there is a tax included in the bill. When this bill comes back to the House, the Bill needs to be killed. I am sure you are aware the Senate cannot create a tax, kill the bill under this pretext.

Once this bill is killed, and funding is provided and put in place to secure our boarders, then this country can start working on a new LEGAL IMMIGRATION Act. The lack of security of our boarders this long after 9-11, is a shame of all the politics in Washington DC.

TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!!

This was forwarded to me by my dad, author unknown:

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.

As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts o r air bags.

Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.

We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter an d drank Kool-aid made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because, WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.

No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K. We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computer! s, no Internet or chat rooms........ WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team.

Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!

These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!

If YOU are one of them. CONGRATULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.

While you a re at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave (and lucky) their parents were.

Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't it?!

The quote of the month is by Jay Leno : "With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?"

eBay Question That Warmed My Heart

We were cleaning our toy room in our basement that you could not walk through because of all of the toys. Over the years my son had built up an extensive Bionicle collection. So we took a picture and put up for auction on Fee Bay (eBay). Here is the question young Rozwell wrote:

"Enter your question hereHi, we made a bid on this set. I am almost 9 years old and I love Bionicles. I am looking for sets 8531-8536..the nams are Pohatu,Onua,Gali,Tahu,Lewa, and Kopalia. Are any of these in the sets you are selling? Let me knw please, Rozwell"

While cleaning out our basement, it made me sick to my stomach just thinking of how much money we had spent on all of the toys over the years. Salivation Army got one heck of a donation yesterday.

No matter how good my son does on the auction, the question from young Rozwell, made it worth it all. Good Luck Rozwell, I hope you have bid enough and have a chance to win it at the end of the auction.

I Heard Back From My Congressman

Please see the reply:
After reading it, and it looks like he actually read my e-mail, I can not figure out how much he really is in support of our troops or not.

Putting it blunt, when you vote to send troops to war, troops die. Our countries worst fears were realized when we ended up in a door-to-door fighting in the cities. There is no going back. In his letter the 80% of Iraq want us out of Iraq. I can agree to that to an extent. Why don't we seal off all of the boarders and let Iraq do the fighting like we have in Afghanistan?

I really can't tell where my congressman stands trying to read through all of the double talk in this letter. Although he does state that the ad was put up by a liberal organization as a slam ad against him. I’ll give him a bye on that one; no way to prove that it was or was not paid for by him.
As you note no politician is willing to say one word of what we will do about Iran and Syria. Although it is not congresses place, pressure needs to be put on our lame duck Republican President to put his pants back on and line up the B-52's and carpet bomb the Mullahs in Iran back to before the Stone Age.

We also need to fund the building of some brand new B-52's. Maybe some new engines and electronics suite, but that is one of the best aircraft the Air force ever had built for them, that and the A-10. I think they need to build some more new A-10's also. I would love to see a naval version of an A-10. Anything has to be better than the F/A-18, but I cannot see a better attack aircraft than the A-10. Why not a naval version of the A-10 for the navy. They already have one Hoover on an aircraft carrier the S-3.

To The Honorable Fred Upton

To The Honorable Fred Upton

I was very upset to see this ad on WZZM TV 13 at approximately 11:10 PM on Monday 14-May-07. This ad propertied stated that you are against the war on terror and the troops in Iraq. By this you publicly went out against the President. As a stout Republican, your continuance on this stance will cause me to seek a different representative in the next primaries.

I am a very proud veteran and very stout supporter of national defense. Has the President made mistakes in Iraq, too many. Public statements by Congressmen contrary to the Presidents foreign policy are unacceptable when our service men and women are at war. I consider it at the level of treason.

If I wanted a cut and run congressman or woman I would have voted for a Democrat. I believe the rest of your district feels the same way. I voted for a Republican under the expectation of tax cuts and strong national defense.

Sincerely,

A highly disappointed constituent

Character

WOW ........ is this laying it on the line or what?

The lady who wrote this letter is Pam Foster of Pamela Foster and Associates in Atlanta . She's been in business since 1980 doing interior design and home planning. She recently wrote a letter to a family member servingin Iraq ....... Read it!

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?

Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia .

I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and ---- you guessed it -- I don't care ! ! ! ! !

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your e-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!

If you don't agree, then by all means click on a link to get out of this page.

Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great country.

I am not ignoring this, I am sharing this with as many that come to this page, but only after I add:

--"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem."

-- Ronald Reagan

I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......

I hope you forward this such as I have.

"If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." also by... Ronald Reagan

Democrats Think 9-11 Wasn’t Enough

On September 11, 2001 The United States of America was told it was at war. The United States was not told it was at war by its congress, but by Islamic Terrorist. The Islamic Terrorist had declared war against the United States long before September 11, 2001; it’s just that the American people had refused to acknowledge it.

Since 2003 we have had our troops in the field of battle. At first both political parties had praised our troops on such a great job that they had done. Although over the years the Democratic Party has taken the mantra to get out of Iraq. Nice thought of not having a war, but that is not a choice that we can make. The United States did not start this war, the Islamic Terrorists did. This war is not like Vietnam, in the fact that when we left the Vietnamese left us alone. This war was started all over the globe, including several attacks here in the United States. If we were to leave Iraq, the Islamic Terrorist will follow the United States military back to the United States.

The Islamic Terrorist do not differentiate between soldiers and women and children, everyone is a target. They just do not care who they kill as long as they kill. I myself want the war fought outside of the United States. Not for my safety but for my wife and my children’s sake. I regularly think of a way to go there and help fight, my dilemma is how to provide for my wife and kids, while I am gone.

So when the Democrats in the US House and Senate voted the war funding bill with the surrender time table include. The Democrats voted to have more attacks on the United States here in the United States.

I pray to God the President George W. Bush holds to his convictions and Veto’s this bill when it reaches his desk. I encourage every American to review the voting record on this bill and read what every vote was about. This bill is all about politics and the Democrats trying to get the next president to be a Democrat.

At the same time this bill is the same thing that Bill Clinton did with Somalia in refusing to properly equip the troops. When you watch the movie Black Hawk Down, remember it is based on a true story. American soldiers died because politicians refused to provide the right equipment that was readily available. In the end fine soldiers received Congressional Medals of Honor. I would have rather seen them come home to their families. At the same time I wish we spent the money so that there was enough troops and proper equipment to fight that battle with honor.

Wish we (The USA) Could Draft Howard for President

This country has it right.

Let's hear it for Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown.

Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted That some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you", he said on national television. "I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia: one the Australian law and another the Islamic law, that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option", Costello said.

Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other country. Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should "clear off.” Basically people who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want to live by Australian values and understand them, well then, they can basically clear off", he said.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by Saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques Quote: “IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians." "However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the 'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia."

"However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand." "This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle." "This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom." "We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!" "Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture." "We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us." "If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like "A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep your culture, but do not force it on others.

"This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'."

"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted." Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens > will find the backbone to start speaking and voting the same truths!!

Under the Geneva Convention Spies Can Be Executed

I must agree with President Bush we must handle the terrorist being held in Gitmo as per the Geneva Convention. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has confessed to acts of terrorism. As I understand it he was caught in a nation that he was not at war with in no nation’s military uniform and had committed acts of terrorism. Being caught doing terrorist activities, in another nation is considered a spy under the Geneva Convention. Under the Geneva Convention, upon the conviction of being a spy, a spy can be executed. Why on earth is this evil man, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, still breathing air?

As to the complaints of torture, if you call water boarding and sleep deprivation torture, give me a break. I have personally been water boarded before, so what. Sleep deprivation, so what. What on earth is that evil man still living for? What has taken our military so long to hold a tribunal and execute Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

Wouldn't it have been nice if the Vietnamese treated our servicemen held captive as nicely as we are treating these terrorist at Gitmo. Spies can be executed under the Geneva Convention.

alert !!

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "ABit Cross." Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to a "Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a"Bloody Nuisance" warning level was during the great fire of 1666.

Also, the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

It's not only the English and French that are on a heightened level of alert. Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain:"Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbor" and "Lose."

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual, and the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels.

The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

I think This Jarhead is Right

General Peter Pace said, "I believe that homosexual acts between individuals are immoral and that we should not condone immoral acts. I do not believe that the armed forces of the United States are well served by saying through our policies that it's OK to be immoral in any way."

Would consider treason to be a moral act? If you see treason as an immoral act as I do, then you would also see General Pace's point on allowing homosexuals in the military. Once you cross into the territory of immorality, where is the difference between homosexuality and committing treason?

A big problem with homosexuals is the security risks in classified material. They can be very easily blackmailed. There have been several cases of blackmail and classified material security breaches involving blackmailed homosexuals. Now is not the time to start adding on additional security risks.

Homosexuality is an immoral choice and not they way you were born. The crowd saying that people are born to be a homosexual is looking for an excuse for their immoral behavior.

Semper Fi General Pace.

Democrat’s Covet the Deaths of Servicemen in Iraq

The Democratic Parties plan to the White House is to lose in Iraq. For the Democratic Party to succeed the US Military must lose in Iraq. For the US Military to lose in Iraq, the Democratic Party is trying to push through the thousand cuts. Every time a serviceman is killed in Iraq, it bolsters the Democratic Parties position.

For the Democratic Party to succeed they must cut the military budget. By cutting the military budget, they are denying the troops the weapons they need and the supplies they need. Going to war with out weapons and supplies kills servicemen.

At the same time Democratic congressional Party leaders have been recorded in the halls of congress telling the Left Wing Extremist Wacko’s that they do not have the votes to get out of Iraq. The Wacko’s demand back that they got the Democrat’s to power and now is pay back time.

The problem is that these Left Wing Wacko’s do not understand that our country is at war to save all of our lives. The Left Wing Wacko’s only want peace. What the Wacko’s do not realize it that everyone wants peace, it is just the realists that understand that you don’t get everything that you want.

Energy Crisis

What on earth is the hold up on pushing Agra fuels? The United States still pays farmers not to farm their fields to drive up the price of grains. The continued statement is that it still costs too much to produce Agra fuels.

I can see growing corn, pressing the corn for corn oil, cooking it for alcohol and still using the remnants for animal feed. The United States can produce its own fuel, the cost to modify the engines to accommodate these types of fuel. The easiest way to accommodate this change is having it incorporated into new cars right out of the assembly plants.

The next move needs to be the elimination of the farm subsidies, ergo reducing the cost of corn on a temporary basis. The reduction of the farm subsidies can be a progressive reduction to accommodate the increase in demand. The shift needs to be done so not to bankrupt the farmers. As a country we need to very careful about this because these are the people that are going to be producing our future fuel needs.

While we are increasing our production potential of grain, we also need to be increasing our production potential of vegetable oil and ethanol. As we increase the production we will also need to increase the delivery options at the gas stations. I think we may need to change their names to fuel stations.

The last item we need to address is the incorporation of fuel cell technology. Fuel cell technology is already here. There are hydrogen booster kits readily available. The only thing else needed is the readily available distilled water at fuel stations. For cold weather climates there is also the need of alcohol additive to prevent freezing.

The Army Screwed Up at Walter Reed Army Medical Center

Yesterday Major General George Weightman was fired, and deservingly so for dereliction of duty. Today the Secretary of the Army Francis J. Harvey resigns over the substandard conditions for wounded Iraq soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Unfortunately the discovery of the issue was way too late.

My niece’s Grandfather is a huge liberal (I’ll call him Jerry from now on), I am sure he will want to see George W. Bush blamed for this. True he is overall accountable for the military, but do you blame the President when something goes wrong with your Social Security check too? I believe that a lot of the blame goes to the Army for not putting enough in the budget to maintain the facilities. I also believe that the blame has to go to our politicians for not making sure that our national defense comes first in the budget.

Jerry was upset that the soldier that complained to the press and the others that were staying in building 18 were punished in a minor manner. If he was ordered not to talk to the press, he should be punished. He violated an order and he broke the faith. By breaking the faith, he complained outside of the Army, he should have never have done that. The punishment was minor, just having to stand inspection daily. The only time you stand daily inspections after boot camp or training schools is under an informal or formal punishment. In this case it was an informal punishment.

Jerry has a hard time understanding that when you join the military you lose all of the rights that you defend for others. All of your rights and laws are covered under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). One that most people commonly misunderstand it the right to freedom of speech. If you are lawfully ordered to keep your mouth shut, you do not have the right to freedom of speech. The reason for this to belong in the UCMJ is that there is a need for military secrets. The biggest question would be was the authority appointed over Specialist Ruben Villalpando issuing a lawful order? That would be a good question.

In the end I believe that Specialist Ruben Villalpando, was fairly treated in his medical discharge. The Staff Sergeant over building 18 that was relieved was the one that got screwed. I have no doubt in my mind, that the Staff Sergeant repeatedly brought up the building was unsatisfactory. I see the root of the problem here is that the United States Congress has failed our military in not providing enough funds to maintain the top army hospital and its facilities.

Whether Nancy Pelosi of Dick Murtha likes it or not, we are at war. This war was authorized by congress twice. At this point in time they have two choices, provide all of the funds necessary for all of our troops or vote to withdraw funding for the war. The Democrats do not have enough votes to override a veto, nor do they have enough votes to get defunding the war through the senate. The only other option is to make sure that our troops get all of the tools they need to fight this war. By fully funding the war it also means that enough funds are budgeted for the hospitals and the VA.

One of my senators campaigned for re-election on that she got something done to help the veterans in the VA system. This goes back to the fact that they (congress) did not properly fund the VA and the military hospitals in the first place. One of the core promises is that if you get hurt, you will be taken care of, the Army has obliviously failed in that commitment. They have failed by not getting the money budgeted and maintained the assets required to carry out their duties.

WHAT A SWEET, WONDERFUL PERSON THE HILDABEAST IS

This ill-tempered, violent, foul mouthed, hateful and abusive woman wants to be your president and have total control as commander-in-chief of a military that her party so openly and proudly admit they detest. I can see someone like this gaining the respect of other nations, and especially from their leaders, who refuse to do as she tells them ...or else. No thanks, my country deserves a better leader!

Reopening the Openly Gays In the Military Debate

As reported today in the Army Times Rep. Marty Meehan, D-Mass., reintroduces his Military Readiness Enhancement Act. The Act will do away with the Don’t Ask and Don’t tell policy and switch to openly allowing gays in the military. Rep. Meehan feels that now that there is a Democratic majority in the House and Senate he feels that they now have a chance to further open the door to allow gays in the military.

There is one problem that no one is mentioning about gays in the military will be the additional cost for quarters. The military does put men and women in the same barracks bay. So do you put straight Men in with gay Men in the same barracks bay or straight women with gay women? This would be the same as having straight men sharing the barracks and bathroom facilities with women or vice versa.

The problem becomes evident when you have a straight woman housed with gay women (or men). While deployed to NAS Cubi Point in 1987 my squadron had a case where there were two gay women shared a room in the barracks with one straight woman. The gay women enjoyed watching the very attractive straight woman, which was made uncomfortable. The gay women even groped the straight woman. How does the straight woman prove that she ahs been groped, when there are two people testifying to one. Both lesbians were eventually discharged for being documented as lesbians.

The branch of the service that would be the hardest hit by this policy would be the Navy. The cost would be the additional demands for heads (bathrooms for you land lubbers) and berthing (bunks).

The second problem with gays in the military is that it causes disruptions in unit harmony; the addition of the sexual aspect causes additional problems. Heck the problem of two guys interested in the same woman causes enough problems. By adding men and women or straight men and gay men or straight women and gay women it only complicates the matter even more.

Al Gore the Environmental Hypocryte

With Al gore out front leading the Global Warming cause, evidence is starting to surface that he is doing what he is asking everyone else to do. In 2006 his 10,000 squarefoot home in Nashville, TN used 191,000 Kilowatt hours per year, where as the average home in that area used 15,600. All of this is according to the Associated Press. As mentioned on conservative talk radio, Al Gore owns threes homes across the country. See Gore defends his carbon credentials. I just don’t buy that carbon neutral thing. Did you or did you not create the carbon. At the same time, I also believe that the amount of carbon that man creates does not really impact the earth.

GOD Unauthorized at the UN

The UN has declared that there is global warming and that people are to blame for it. I agree that there may be global warming, but it has very little to do with people. The earth has warmed up and even had an ice age, but it has very little to do with the inhabitants. The earth warms up by it's self and the other factor is GOD. There is nothing mentioned in the UN that GOD and the earth it's self may have a huge part in global warming. I will say a prayer for the UN, because my GOD and his Son Jesus Christ would want me to do so.

Bought a New Car...LOL

We bought a new Lexus, you know the one that parks itself but had to return to the dealer the next day because I couldn't get the radio to work. The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated. "Nelson," the salesman said to the radio. The Radio replied, "Ricky or Willie?" "Willie!" he continued and "On the Road Again" came from the speakers. Then he said, "Ray Charles!", and in an instant "Georgia On My Mind" replaced Willie Nelson. I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, Soggy Bottom Boys," I'd get beautiful bluegrass music, and if I said, Beatles," I d get one of their awesome songs. Yesterday, a couple ran a red light and nearly creamed my new car, but I swerved in time to avoid them. I yelled, "A-- Holes!" Immediately the French National Anthem began to play, sung by Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand, backed up by Michael Moore and The Dixie Chicks, with John Kerry on guitar, Al Gore on drums, Dan Rather on harmonica, Nancy Pelosi on tambourine, Harry Reid on spoons, Bill Clinton on sax and Ted Kennedy on scotch. Gosh, I LOVE this car!!!

Al Gore and His Inconvenient Truth

Al Gore has betrayed our nation and played upon our fears. His promotion of his movie the Inconvenient Truth is based on an inconvenient truth that the global warming is caused by automobile exhausts. The inconvenient truth for Al Gore is that since 1930 the average temperature has only risen 0.7 degrees f. The mass increase in the number of automobiles has taken place during that time for only that small increase. I would argue that humans have very little impact on global warming. I would argue that the global warming is caused by nature.

Consensus is not science, it is only an opinion. Al’s movie is based on a consensus, decided by slanted opinions of scientists with an objective overlooking the truth. We need to remember that there were things refered to as the ice age in the history of the earth. Is it fair to assume that there were also warming/hot spells also? I would argue that is a fair assumption. I would argue that there is a higher power, that I refer to as God. I believe it is very arrogant to think we have more control over the climate and earth than God.

Al Gore has taken these opinions, made a movie and presented them as facts. Al Gore has taken this movie and pushed to get it shown throughout the public schools and scared our childern. Al Gore has betrayed the truth and played upon the fears of our children. He has scared the children that mommy and daddies cars are killing the polar bears.

If anything it is not momy and daddies cars that are killing the polar bears is would be all of the private jet flights that Al Gore is taking all over the country. Each of his private cross country jet flights consume more gas than the average car owner does in one year.

One last point, Al Gore’s wealth is from OIL Stocks inheritied from his daddy.
